Click the link to register for SafeTALK training. This training prepares anyone over the age of 15 to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources

Since we began partnering with AFSP to host the Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention walks, 38 people from the community and our campus have become safeTalk certified.

Attend the half-day safeTALK program on April 6, 2018 from 12-3PM and learn to:
• identify people who may have thoughts of suicide,
• ask them directly about the possibility of suicide, then
• connect them to live-saving resources.

SafeTALK is open to anyone 15 or older, regardless of prior experience. Both professionals and members of the general public can benefit from safeTALK.

To participate in the training, you must register by clicking on this link.

This event is free and open to the community so please help us spread the word.
